Our Leadership

Jesus Christ:
Global is a church that is being founded by Jesus. He is the leader of his Church and serves as the Chief Shepherd and Overseer of Global. This means that our Elders, Deacons and Covenant Partners submit themselves to Jesus as their Senior Pastor in all areas of life and doctrine.

Elders:
Elders are the leaders of the church who in the Bible are also called pastors, bishops, and overseers. The elders are men chosen for their ministry according to clear biblical requirements. In the Bible, elders are always spoken of in plurality because God intends for more than one man to lead the church as a safeguard for both the church and the man. The elders' duties include leading, teaching, preaching, doctrinal instruction, and discipline.

Drew Clark serves as the founding and lead pastor for Global Church. He served as the lead planter for Global in Bali, Indonesia and is now serving as the lead planter for Global in Houston. Before planting Global Church in Bali, Lee founded a media production company, where he led a team of talented producers, directors and artists. He holds a bachelors degree in Multimedia Production from Oral Roberts University, and is lovingly married.

Deacons:
Deacons occupy the second-highest position of leadership in the church and serve as helpers to the elders. Elders and deacons work together like left and right hands, with elders specializing in leading by their words and deacons specializing in leading by their works. In addition to the Elders, Deacons must be biblically qualified for the ministry of overseeing and caring for God's people.
